The overall goal of Happy House is to provide your child with an environment where they can develop a sense of security, warmth, love, and affection. We strive everyday to make each individual child feel valued and confident in it’s newfound abilities. We feel as caregivers that the small group environment helps young children to develop close nurturing relationships with their peers as well as us.

The children in our care will experience creative play, singing, one on one time, and develop an understanding of the world around them. We encourage all of our kids to interact in the daily rituals of Happy House, Such as large and small motor play, social interaction, free play, and bodily health and cleanliness. We follow a flexible daily routine based on the moods and interests of the group. The children are given the opportunity to join an activity or play independently until it is over. Happy House does not consider TV part of our program. We offer it once a week as “movie time” or when the weather is not appropriate for outside play.

Heather has worked in day care environments for ten years. Carrie has raised three daughters and is a 11-year veteran in the nursing field. Together we have operated Happy House for over three years. We hope to have the opportunity to nurture and care for your child. We look forward to being part of your family’s life.

Thank You,
Heather & Carrie
