For Mike's debut CD there were several concepts he wanted to utilize.
The title track, Venus was about a girl, but it also referred to the goddess
Venus, and if you're talikng about the goddess Venus, you're talking about
the heavens, which brings us to the planet, Venus, which is
actually what that blue background is.

Mike also wanted to dedicate the CD to his father, who was a pilot that crashed
into the sea. So, there are many aeronautical references in the design,
including the blue background which looks like it could be a swirling sky or water.
